May 19, 2020—Fort Worth, TX – Many of the creatives, artists, and entrepreneurs that run businesses located in the Fort Worth Design District have elected to make their businesses dog friendly.
Many of the tenants in the innovative shipping container business park, Box Office Warehouse Suites, like to bring their dogs to work and welcome patrons to bring dogs when they visit.
“Because of the high number of dog-friendly businesses in the Fort Worth Design District, we decided to add a public dog park almost two years ago,” said Jennifer Knittel, Administrator of the district.
“As a dog owner, I’m excited to have this park with special areas for large and small dogs,” said Linda Allen, owner of Linda Allen State Farm Agency at 5328 Boat Club Road in Fort Worth, TX.
In addition, Fort Worth Design District hosts an annual car show and dog adoption event that features cars from local car clubs and dogs available for adoption from a variety of local dog rescue groups.
This year’s Hot Dogs and Hot Rods event is scheduled for Saturday, October 24 from 11 am to 4 pm at 1921 Golden Heights Road in Fort Worth, TX and will feature scores of arts and crafts vendors.
The 40-acre Fort Worth Design District is a shopping and business district anchored by three new business centers: Box Office Warehouse Suites, Golden Triangle Business Park, and Paddock Place Office Suites.
In addition, the district is home to the Snap and Share Art Walk with many prize-winning graffiti murals by national artists and a series of banner size art posters for participants to photo themselves in. The favorite for most is “Love Locks”, an exhibit with a place for lovers to pose and place a lock as a love token.
Box Office Warehouse Suites is a business park made entirely of repurposed shipping containers that is anchored by Salon and Spa Galleria, a salon suite rental chain. Paddock Place Office Suites offers small office space for lease in a beautifully renovated horse paddock. The space features more than a dozen small private office spaces for lease that are ideal for entrepreneurs.
