Fort Worth, Texas – September 1, 2020 – Fired by tales of chivalry and knights errant, Don Quixote sets out on an adventure of his own accompanied only by his trusty squire, Sancho Panza.
Whether Don Quixote and Sancho are strangers to you or you know them well, Cervantes’ most famous duo will make you laugh and make you think as they confront giants, rouges, evil knights and bandits on their quest for Princess Dulcinea.
Leading the cast of this world-premiere stage adaptation is Neal Jordan (Don Quixote). He is joined by Jackson Berkhouse (Sancho Panza), Sydni Embry (The Nun), Taylor Cordill (The Niece), Fred Patterson (The Barber), Brian Hokanson (The Innkeeper/Knight of Mirrors), Jennifer Phagan (Peasant 1), Kamille Isom (Peasant 2), Abby Evangelisto (Aldonza/Dulcinea, Peasant 3), Abby Hill (Duchess), Jacob Hamilton (Duke, Shepherd Boy), and Nathan Layne (The Salesman).
Written and directed by The Luckenbooth Theatre’s Artistic Director Megan Hildebrand and produced under the technical supervision of Nathan Layne, the show will have a one-time live performance event streamed on YouTube on Saturday, August 29, and then run for two weeks at Luckenbooth On Demand.
“The show is a reminder of the power of imagination to add adventure to the lives of people of all ages,” said Hildebrand. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by visiting The Luckenbooth Theatre’s online ticket office. One hundred percent of the money generated by ticket sales will be used to support The Luckenbooth Theatre and to further its mission of bringing live theatre to the local community.
